Any explanation for the title? I mean, my first thought when I saw the link to the site was: "Uncle John, come on. The McGuirks can do many things quite well, but singing is not usually one of them." My sister excepted, of course. So what's the deal with that?
I can't wait to see this thing evolve. You should check out this article on writing "The Living Web." It should be required reading for any interested in weblogging.
The title comes from a Grateful Dead song of that name. "Come, hear, Uncle John's Band/by the river side/we've got some things to talk about/here beside the rising tide."
